Not too many balmy days here in Maine recently. Like most of the rest of the country, we've had about a month of intensely hot and humid weather. The crazy weather patterns in the middle of the country have blocked our typical cooling sea breezes.
Instead we've had a steady stream of steam traveling up from the Gulf of Mexico. The whole east coast has been handily parboiled. The humidity and rains have unleashed a torrent of biting bugs. 'Skeeter Skidaddler has been doing its part to return joy to those in need of nature's very best insect repellent. Our mission is to assist you in getting your summer fun back (from the flying, biting bugs).
Here is one writer's experience. Aislinn Sarnacki of the Bangor Daily News (10 miles of hiking in Maine coastal arboreal forest, buggy as heck!)
And another's as well. (see later part of the blog last largish paragraph) "...My son is a mosquito magnet, and I was delighted to put Skeeter Skidaddler to the test when he and a group of friends were visiting for a cookout. They were all complaining about the bugs, and threatening to move the party inside when I brought out the spray for them to try. Two hours later, they came in raving about how effective it was..."
